The Mt. Olive AME Church of Emporia, its Pastor, and the congregation, visitors and friends had a blessed time at the 1st Annual Virtual Women's Day Program, March 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST)! We had powerful speakers such as Pastor, Ministers, and First Ladies scheduled to speak! Our theme was "Acknowledging the Shoulders We Stand On!" Our guiding scriptures are Ruth 1: 12 & 15-17. Each guest speaker spoke about an Icon, Legend, Woman of the Bible, or someone near and dear to them. Music was provided by Mt. Olive's Steward Pro Tem, Nadine Terry, and there will be many other fun surprises! So, please put on your pretty spring outfit and hat and join us on March 20th!
